Jacinta Atieno Okumu

Jacinta Atieno Okumu, is the Finance Director at the African Council of Religious Leaders-Religions for Peace (ACRL-RfP). She holds a Masters degree in Business Administration with specialization in International Business from the United States International University-Africa (USIU-A), Kenya and a Bachelor degree in International Business Administration (Finance). She is also a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA - K) and holds a diploma in Business Management from Kenya Institute of Management (KIM).
Jacinta is responsible for finance, human resources and administration in the organization, a position she has held for the last 13 years. Her duties include planning, organizing, coordinating and supervising the activities of the three departments.
She has more than fifteen (15) years’ work experience in implementation and reporting of multi- donor and multi-sectoral development programs at national and regional levels in Africa, working in partnership with a range of sectors such as the civil society, faith-based and private sector organizations in development work.
Before joining the African Council of Religious Leaders-Religions for Peace (ACRL-RfP), Jacinta worked as Finance & Administration Manager at Inter-Religious Council of Kenya, an organization bringing national Religious Leaders together, advocating for peace in Kenya. Jacinta is married with three children.
